Day 1 Fly Vancouver to Beijing via Hong Kong on award-winning Cathay Pacific Airways. Day 2 Arrive Hong Kong and connect onto Dragon Air flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Accommodation: Double Tree by Hilton. Day 3 Morning tour to the Great Wall. Afternoon visit Old Beijing - Hutongs by trishaw ride and have tea at a local family. (B/L) Day 4 Morning tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Afternoon visit the Summer Palace and the Pearl Market. This evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roast duck dinner. (B/L/D) Day 5 Visit the Temple of Heaven and a famous Silk store before we fly you to Xian, the most historic city in China and the capital of ancient China for 11 dynasties. Accommodation: Hyatt Regency Hotel. (B/L) Day 6 Full day Terra-cotta Warriors & Horses with lunch. Afternoon visit the Big Wild Pagoda. You will also have a chance to visit the factory where Terra Cotta replicas are made. (B/L) Day 7 Today visit the Shanxi Provincial Museum and the City Wall. After lunch, we will fly you to China's largest city - Shanghai. Accommodation: Hilton Hotel. (B/L) Day 8 Full day visiting Yuyuan Garden and a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the "bund". After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and a Jade carving factory.
